PostPub ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

Account information: When you sign up, we collect your email address and a password (stored as a secure hash). We never store your password in plain text.

Content you create: We store the content you input, convert, and publish through PostPub so we can provide the service. This includes documents, drafts, published posts, and schedule data.

Usage data: We collect anonymized analytics about how you use the app (pages visited, features used, session duration) via PostHog. This helps us improve the product. No personally identifiable information is included in these events.

Billing information: Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number. We receive only a payment confirmation and subscription status from Stripe.

Third-party API credentials: If you connect CMS platforms (WordPress, Webflow, Ghost, etc.) or social accounts, the API keys and tokens you provide are stored locally in your browser and are never transmitted to or stored on our servers.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your content to train AI models. We do not share your information with third parties except as described below.

Your data is stored in Supabase, hosted on AWS in the United States. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. Access to production data is restricted to authorized personnel only.

While we take security seriously, no system is 100% secure. In the unlikely event of a data breach, we will notify affected users in accordance with applicable law.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance purposes (e.g., billing records).

7. Cookies

PostPub uses minimal cookies required for authentication (session token) and basic analytics. We do not use advertising cookies or sell cookie data to third parties. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this will prevent you from staying logged in.

8. Children's Privacy

PostPub is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of PostPub after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
